    Responsibilities

    Core Responsibilities:

     

    • Conduct product regulatory compliance reviews, following established PS&R processes such as FSOP
    • Prepare hazard communication documents such as SDS, hazard labels and distribute to business customers
    • Support new chemical, dangerous chemical registrations as required
    • Support various kinds of government regulatory reporting efforts
    • Participate in product stewardship reviews and assessments
    • Provide support to customers regarding Axalta product compliance certifications such as RoHS, SVHC
    • Monitor regulatory development to identify those with potential impact on Axalta. Conduct impact analysis and communicate to business customers

    Qualifications

    Experience:

     

    • This position is intended for a new undergraduate student, no past professional experience is required

     

    Knowledge & Skills (functional competences and capabilities):

     

    • Bachelor’s degree in polymer materials, chemistry or a related science field
    • Double degree in computing science, or related discipline a strong advantage
    • knowledge of chemical management, chemical control, hazard communication regulation an advantage
    • Open-minded and keen to learn
    • Good problem solving and critical thinking skills
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products
    • Excellent English communication skills
    • Good interpersonal skills and a strong team player
