    Responsibilities

    • Manage the financial elements of the business at the customer interface, including inventory, receivables, selling expenses, overtime, productivity, and cost savings projects
    • Develop and maintain industry business knowledge of customers, suppliers and competitors
    • Secure and organize resources, including people and materials needed to solve customer technical and production problems
    • Manage the introduction of new technologies to customers and manage the impact which customer-initiated changes, such as new vehicle launches, have on existing technologies

    Qualifications

    KNOWLEDGE:

    • Knowledge of Automotive Coatings is required, including products, applications, chemistry and customer processes
    • Influence and negotiating skills are required in order to be able to effectively manage business situations involving Axalta and customer employees
    • Previous management experience is required
    • Knowledge of the functions and organizations, which impact customer relations, such as manufacturing/operations, Technical, Marketing and finance, is required.
    • Fluent in English

     

     

    PROBLEM-SOLVING:

    • Identify employee development needs. Coach and counsel to resolve issues and build necessary skills
    • Manage the overall satisfaction of the customer at the assembly plant level. This often involves urgent problems with large dollar impact on the customers and Axalta
    • Organize and coordinate the efforts of customer and Axalta technical and operations personnel to improve product performance and customers operating processes
    • Develop and implement strategies to increase market share and profitability
    • Identify and communicate customer and business needs and industry trends

     

     

     

    ACCOUNTABILITY:

    • This position is responsible for the bus team performance
    • The Sales Manager is responsible for both maintaining existing account and aggressively develop new business to achieve/Exceed budget. Current revenues are approximately $10 million.
    • Manage Selling Expense budget.
    • Held accountable for financial goals, staffing, safety, inventory levels and operating budgets
    • Current direct reports would be 2 and totals organization 10
