    We are looking at filling a Quality Control Manager to relace a person who is retiring.  This will be for our Dura Coat Products Inc operations and will work at our Madison, AL facility.  This role will report to the Plant Manager

    Responsibilities

    1. Supervises and assigns work to all Q.C. Techs and production shaders
    2. Communicates all changes in specs and test procedures for products/customers
    3. Maintains nonconformance report log and calibration log books
    4. Updates scheduling, shading and canning logs.
    5. Adjusts or sets disposition for all non-conforming finished product
    6. Adjusts and investigates all customer pre-ship rejections
    7. Identifies and removes all nonconforming test equipment
    8. Verifies pre-ship requirements and shading for information for accuracy
    9. Evaluates quality issues and make recommendations for corrective action and improvement to Plant Manager
    10. Collaborates with production, engineering and other functional teams to provide feedback regarding accuracy of procedures and recommends opportunities for improvement
    11. Applies health, safety and environmental principles and procedures on a daily basis
    12. Understands and applies Dura Coat Products, Inc. quality policy

    Qualifications

    1. Bachelors of Science and at least 5 years of applicable work experience or at least ten years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment.
    2. Experience with coil coating process (Is this a must? If not, say “preferred” experience…)
    1. Demonstrated experience in Quality continuous improvement initiatives and programs
    2. At least 5 to 8 years of inspection experience in a paint production environment
    3. At least 2 years of experience managing a team in a production/manufacturing environment
