    Responsibilities

    Role Summary:

    Axalta Coating Systems is seeking a QA Specialist that will ensure consistent quality of our ISO systems & production by creating and enforcing good development practices; confirming processes; and providing documentation. This person will monitor calibration frequencies and ensure all calibrations are current as well as conduct and coordinate all internal and external audits.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Maintain quality accreditation for the site
    • Understand Current and Potential customer quality requirements, evaluate against current quality practices and correct gaps in order to meet business needs.
    • Host all external audits
    • Conducts internal audits and follow up
    • Maintain the document control system
    • Test method administrator
    • Coordinate lab equipment calibration
    • Maintain contract lab certifications and control plans
    • Review stop sales and SCARS vs site inventory
    • Maintain process for investigations
    • Represent the site on North America quality core team
    • Maintain training records for the site
    • Maintain provider training list
    • Maintain documentation for supplier training visits
    • Maintain job cycle check system
    • Maintain dashboard for TLM and job cycle check compliance
    • Onboarding regarding quality systems
    • Main contact for Iron Mountain Storage
    • Proprietary protection audits and training
    • Mentor/ Coach Group Training Leads to ensure Successful Execution of Job Cycle Check Program

    Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in the related field
    • Five years plus experience
    • Certification to Lead Auditor Status
    • Certification, such as Quality Engineer, Quality Auditor, Six Sigma, or Quality Improvement Associate, is preferred
    • Relevant long-term experience, knowledge of regulatory requirements
    • Knack for implementation of corrective action programs
    • Experience in the related industry or with related products
    • Superb computer competence, including experience with databases and Microsoft Office
    • Knowledge of QA terms, tools, and methodologies
