    • Install, repair and maintenance of various types of pumps, gearboxes, plumbing, traps, clutches, mechanical seals, pneumatic and hydraulic controls.
    • Installation and maintenance of high and low pressure systems.
    • Laser alignment.
    • Prepare list of parts, materials, safety equipment, tools, cranes, rigging, etc., that are needed for each job.
    • Involved in development of Job safety analysis.
    • Maintain high Housekeeping standards at all work areas.
    • Recording schedule and work order feedback.
    • Recording preventive maintenance and equipment history data.
    • Communicating job status upon completion or end of shift.
    • Providing feedback to the Maintenance Supervisor and Planner on improvements for future jobs.
    • Finding and utilizing assistance from available plant resources (Operations, engineers, vendors etc.).
    • Drive and operate Lift truck.
    • Involved in predictive/preventive nondestructive techniques and improving equipment reliability.
    • Participate in investigations and equipment failure root cause analysis.
    • Assist in training others within the skilled trade’s team.
    • Coordinate jobs with operations, engineering and contractors.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.



    • Licensed Ontario Millwright/Mechanic with over 10 years in trade experience.
    • Certification/ Experience with Fork Lift trucks repair and maintenance an asset.
    • Knowledge of MIG/ARC/TIG welding as asset.
    • Working knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Eg. SAP or equivalent.
    • Good Computer operating skills.
    • Experience working in Lean manufacturing environment would be an asset.
    • Perform routine tasks with minimal supervision.
