    Responsibilities

    The Marketing Assistant will support the Global Refinish team (GRT) in marketing efforts across the business.  Areas of marketing will include event management, internal and external communications, social media (internal and external), and marcom design work.  In addition, the successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Global Refinish team.  This work will only encompass approximately 10% of the individuals time.

     

    Key Responsibilities 

     

    • Internal
      • Owning the content for the Global Refinish presence on Inside Axalta
      • Creating meaningful and regular content for the Global Refinish dynamic signal tool
      • Drive execution of the monthly Global Refinish newsletter highlighting work from the regions
      • Create a monthly internal highlights document
      • Own the global refinish internal distribution list for various messaging
      • May assist with data collection and analysis for market research
    • External
      • Support the GRT’s efforts at key events such as IBIS Global, IBIS USA, and SEMA
      • In conjunction with the regions, provide input and support to marketing campaigns; ensure compliance with global brand standards
    • Events
      • Support customer related events
      • Support key external consultants who provide marketing and customer engagement support to Axalta
    • Salesforce excellence support
      • Support the VP, Global Refinish sales in coordination of sales force excellence activities (i.e. scheduling vendors, coordinating meeting spaces, etc.)
      • Support current and future Sales Excellence Training events
      • Develop and own content for High level presentations for Global Refinish Leadership
    • Administrative
      • Support the GRT in general administrative tasks, such as travel arrangements, expense reports, invoicing, calendar management, and meeting scheduling/coordination.

     

    Position may require occasional travel.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree required and with experience in marketing and/or communications. Understanding and experience with Microsoft Office suite of products.
