Axalta Coating Systems is seeking a Polymer/ Organic Chemist with experience in the synthesis and characterization of polymers. In addition to a strong synthetic background, the candidate should have a basic understanding of structure-property relationships and polymer physics. The successful candidate should be knowledgable about and have experience with a range of polymer synthesis methodologies. Additionally, the candidate should be skilled in polymer characterization, including both microscopic and macroscopic characterization.
The successful candidate will join Axalta’s Global Innovation Center (GIC) in Philadelphia, PA. The GIC group develops high performance coatings for the Transportation, Refinish, and General Industrial markets.
